Ran AF Relays today and had the worst race of my life. Our team got off to a good start with Spencer at about 13th place. Next Joe moved up to about 11th. Branson held the spot not losing or gaining ground. Eric moved us up to 10th. I took the handoff and felt fine for the first lap. Got passed by a Weber guy but didn't feel too bad after seeing he finished with the second fastest time at the relay. First lap was a 5:24 which was a little slower than I wanted. Then I just hit a wall. I tried to do every thing that I could to go faster but my body was just already worn out. I managed to stay with Bingham and Spanish Fork heading around the baseball diamond. I gave it all I had going across the hay bails. I passed the Spanish Fork runner going around the track and caught the Bingham runner on the track. I beat him by maybe a step. I finished strong but still had a really crappy race. I just didn't have it today. However on the bright side the team finished 9th. The highest placing ever for Mountain Crest and was just 3 seconds off the Mountain Crest record at the AF Relays. Congratulations to the rest of the team.

What does AF stand for?

Sorry that you had a bad race.
